Elwood is a small town, with deep roots, strong traditions, and an extraordinary student focus.  This year, Elwood Elevate gains new depth as our collective call to action.  We are rising together to weave a continuous thread of excellence from P-12, building the Portrait of an Elwood Graduate in every classroom.  By centering our efforts on our integrated MTSS-i framework, we are reinforcing our commitment to the whole child—ensuring that academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports are not just silos, but the foundation upon which every student's potential is elevated.  We are not just teaching; we are collaboratively shaping the future, one student at a time.

To bring this vision to life, we are deepening our commitment to innovate, integrate, and inspire with an extraordinary student focus.  We innovate by actively refining our instructional systems, including the complete overhaul of our MTSS-i framework and the adoption of evidence-based strategies from the Science of Learning.  We integrate by weaving authentic, cross-disciplinary learning experiences into our P-12 curriculum, ensuring a seamless continuum that nurtures the competencies defined by the NYS Portrait of a Graduate. Finally, we inspire by fostering a welcoming and affirming community that sparks curiosity, encouraging every student to reach beyond their limits and realize their full potential.
