Homeschooling

If you are planning to home-instruct your child, please review the NYSED Part 100.10 Home Instruction Regulations. Parents who wish to homeschool their child should submit a letter of intent to Dr. Amy Meyer, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum & Instruction by email or mail.

We request that the "Letter of Intent" for the coming school year be submitted by July 1st and the “Individualized Home Instruction Plan” (IHIP) be submitted by August 15th. While letters of intent are requested by July 1st, they are accepted at any time throughout the year. Once your letter is submitted, we will notify you via email of its receipt. Confirmation and approval of Individualized Home Instruction Plans (IHIPs) will also be completed via email. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the Office of Curriculum and Instruction.
