If you are an Elwood School District resident and your child will be 4 years old on or before December 1, 2026, and will be eligible to enter kindergarten in September 2027, you may participate in the lottery for the Elwood Universal Pre-Kindergarten program. This full-day program will have limited spots and is free for those who participate. The deadline for completing your UPK lottery application is Wednesday, February 25, 2026.
The lottery to select the participants will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.

Si usted es residente del Distrito Escolar de Elwood y su hijo cumplirá 4 años el 1 de diciembre de 2026 o antes, y será elegible para ingresar al jardín de infantes en septiembre de 2027, puede participar en la lotería del programa de prejardín de infantes universal de Elwood.
