Elwood Launches Student Technology Internship Program

Elwood Launches Student Technology Internship Program

The district has launched a new student internship program for Elwood-John H. Glenn High School, offering students a behind-the-scenes look at the technology that supports teaching and learning across the district. Through the program, participating students gain hands-on experience in hardware diagnostics and repair, with a focus on maintaining the district’s Chromebook fleet.

The program began this year with John Glenn sophomore Syed Meesum Abbas, and is expected to expand next year to include additional student interns.

“It is our objective that our intern will develop high-demand technical skills and a strong problem-solving mindset that prepares him for immediate success in the modern workforce,” Director of Instructional and Information Technology Christopher Onorato said.
