The Elwood-John H. Glenn High School Knights football team and coach TJ Brocking led a Stop & Shop food drive on Nov. 2 to collect canned goods and nonperishable items, sponsored by Town Supervisor Ed Smyth, Councilman Sal Ferro and the Ferro Foundation. In a true team bonding experience, the coach and his team filled 12 carts with food donations for local families in need.

“This was absolutely wonderful,” Athletic Director Dave Shanahan said. “Giving back to the community speaks volumes about our student athletes and coaches.”
