Glenn’s Virtual Enterprise Students Tee Up Sales Success

Elwood-John H. Glenn High School’s Virtual Enterprise students recently took a swing at real-world business by promoting their fantastic On Par catalog. The entrepreneurs visited classrooms to showcase their innovative products, with their star item being a specialized golf ball equipped with a tracking device and swing data app. Students also got to decide which high-tech gear they would splurge on if it were real.
 
“This was a great opportunity for the VE team to sharpen their sales and presentation skills,” Assistant Principal Lindsay Fritch said. “At the same time, the younger students practiced essential financial literacy by learning how to write a check. A hole-in-one educational experience for all!”
