Harley Avenue Second Graders Sing Their Way to a New Chapter

Harley Avenue Second Graders Sing Their Way to a New Chapter

Harley Avenue Primary School celebrated its second graders with the annual Second Grade Sendoff Concert on June 16, marking both the students’ vocal accomplishments and their upcoming transition to third grade at James H. Boyd Intermediate School this September.

Directed by Christina Long, the performance featured the school’s “The Harley Spirit Song” along with favorites including “The Rainbow Connection,” “What a Wonderful World,” “Make New Friends,” “We’ve Got the Whole World,” “Let Your Light Shine” and “So Long, Farewell.”

“To the Harley Avenue Class of 2026, we are so proud of all that you have accomplished,” Principal Julie Bilello said. “As you begin your journey at Boyd, know that you will always be a part of the Harley family. We cannot wait to see all that you achieve in the year ahead as you continue your journey toward becoming the John Glenn High School Class of 2036. Congratulations, best wishes and enjoy yourselves.”
