Elwood-John H. Glenn High School seniors Bella Ronai, Nico Rayo Trager and Avalyn Sclafani have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program, placing them among approximately 34,000 students nationwide recognized for exceptional academic promise.

The students earned the distinction based on their performance on the 2025 PSAT/NMSQT, placing among the top 50,000 entrants in the 2027 competition.

“Congratulations to these three students on this well-deserved accomplishment,” Principal Lindsay Fritch said. “It is a true testament to their hard work and perseverance.”
